If anyone wants to see Limestone in person - there is one sitting in the lot at the Houston Service Center - along with LA Silver, Launch Green, Black, Rivian Blue, and El Cap

What, is this a new redneck pastime: Rivian-tipping? You wait for a Rivian to go into deep sleep, then you tip it over onto it's side. Admittedly, it's quite a feat to get 7000lbs flipped.

Was still there as of 3pm today. Rivian employee told me it was the first limestone one at the Houston Service Center.

Did you see anymore trucks there? OR does it still look very small compared to what we've seen at other service centers.

I didn’t take a careful count because I wasn’t thinking of that, but approximately:

3 parked at front door
5 parked along the side of the building
7 parked in the back lot

Preorder was Sept 2021
Config is Adventure, Limestone, 20" standard AT tires, auto tonneau, full size spare tire, no underbody shield, and cargo bars (had to remove tent and kitchen of course).

oh wow, you're in Houston? Dang man I am in the suburb of Houston and I am jealous. I ordered 1 month after you though. I don't even know what they are basing it on at this point but glad to see another Texan getting their truck.

Yep, right over by the Galleria. I think it's got something to do with how/when people picked Limestone. I know a lot of people didn't choose it because it hadn't really been seen, but I stuck with it and maybe that put me further up for any Limestone builds?

I have a First Mile drive scheduled for Saturday afternoon currently but the home address is outside their service area for the drives (it's near Fort Worth). Does anyone have a good recommendation for a non-residential location for a first drive that's inside the service area for Dallas?

Congrats! No, no presence yet. There are service centers planned for Dallas, Austin, and I believe Houston. Was just by the Dallas location the other day, no outward signs of construction activity yet.

There is a Delivery Center in Dallas; my R1T is there now getting prep for flat bed delivery to my house in a week : )

That's a temp location while they complete the permanent one. Houston is open, Austin will be in a couple months. I believe San Antonio is planned too but behind the others.
