Hey ya'll, I have a R1T scheduled for Delivery in March/ April (Feb 2019 order) and an R1S scheduled for July/August (Jan 2020 order). I would be happy to show off the R1T to any local folks once it's delivered

I was actually in the office for a while yesterday so I swung by the future Dallas service center location while I was there. There were finally signs of activity! There were multiple construction dumpsters and an open bay door on the East side and a few guys walking around outside. Looks like they may be starting to gut the building. Happy to see some movement there, gives me greater confidence that they have confidence in their delivery timing.

I was originally going to get out and take better pictures this morning, but didn’t see a whole lot lol. There was indeed a dumpster though!

Friday around noon there were probably 5-6 dumpsters in that spot (looking pretty full) and the bay door behind the one in your picture was open. There were also some vehicles and people on site at the time, presumably the guys filling the dumpsters.

I work out by the Carriage Point area and try to drive by once a week. So far there has been construction but no signs or anything that points toward Rivian. It would be a good location for a service center. Toyota has there gulf coast delivery stuff right there so there are tons of new cars coming in all the time from all manufacturers.

Also a Houston reservation holder but I ordered the max pack to I'm expecting sometime 2023.

I thought they were installing charging posts last week but when I went by this week it wasn't there.

Still no signage that says Rivian.

Order number didn’t matter In this case. This is an employee owned Rivian. Per Linkedin, he joined the company July 2021 and received his truck at the end of December. I don’t think there will be any non-employee deliveries in Houston until March at the earliest.

Ill be on the lookout! Looks like 1 of the videos had it near my path to and from work.

Went by the Houston location today and they have signage up above the front door.
Hopefully this means that they are getting closer to opening.
