I had a nice experience with Rivian insurance today. Called to see if they could budge off the high rate they'd quoted me and the rep was super honest. Said Nationwide doesn't take into account driving mileage and that since I've been with Progressive for a while they'll be inclined to give me the best rate anyway.
He did say the OEM replacement was a big advantage but not big enough to offset the $2k per year I'd save going with someone else.
Did say that Travelers also does OEM and to try them but they don't have the R2 in their system yet and I'm tired of calling to get quotes lol.
But still, good on the rep for being honest. That'd sway me if it wasn't so much more.
