I've had home, auto and motorcycle policies through Progressive for 10 years. I received my VIN and purchase steps for my R2 order today, so I called Progressive first to see what kind of a quote they would give me.
I got all my policy info together for comparison purposes and then I called Rivian insurance. The rep I spoke to was very knowledgeable and super friendly. I asked her to build a quote for bundling my home and auto insurance and was pleasantly surprised by the result.
Not only was she able to beat Progressive's auto quote on price, but I got higher coverage limits and extra features (like full glass coverage, full vehicle replacement coverage, etc.) which weren't present on my Progressive policy. Most surprising of all was the home policy quote. Higher coverage limits across the board and $400/year less than I've been paying with Progressive.
Definitely going with the Rivian insurance coverage for my R2, and I'm curious to know what your experiences with this process are?
