Can you share a picture of just the mount bracket for positioning?

I just got mine in and I'm getting ready to install it.

I wonder if it's possible to install the Mount bracket backwards so it's less likely the pin would fall out.

I will send a pic when I get back but as long as you do it under the seam between the two pieces of plastic that meet there you will clear the top tail gate stuff. I don’t think you can install the bracket any other way or you wouldn’t be able to get it in and out.

Just installed mine. I did it the OEM way for now. Have any of you rigged something to securely cover the extender? I'm putting surfboards in my bed and don't want them to be easily stolen. I'm sure any cover would be weak security, but would at least be a deterant.
