hi - I recently got a R1S and also looking for a running board installer in South Bay. Any one has experience with an installer and also which Running Boards did you go with?
We definitely recommend ZEVcentric. They own a couple of Rivians themselves and have done plenty of installs. You can ask for Rishie and let him know we sent you over, he'll make sure you are taken care of.

I installed Hansshow retractables myself...it's very easy...probably easier with fixed boards. You guys should try doing it yourselves

Hello. Did you tap into the wiring harness behind the passenger footwell? I cannot get mine to retract when the door closes.

Did you tap into the green high voltage wire and the blue low voltage wire? Do you have a 2025 R1S? Thank you!
We have a 24, installation might be different. Hansshow provided a harness and there was no tapping into any wire. Just the adapter harness at the passenger footwell and 12v power from the battery in the frunk.

Yes, there is no harness now. You have to tap into the two wires I mentioned above. Their support is pretty much non-existent. Thanks for responding.
