screen shut down

Occasionally both screens would shut down while I was driving. I would not loose control of the vehicle, but I would not be able to use any of the systems.
I was driving for 1.5 hours and this happened three times during that trip.
This was reported to Rivian service and they suggested doing a hard restart to the infotainment screen, and then the main vehicle. This procedure has not solved the issue, as it happened agin last week.
Curious if any others have had this same issue?

This happened to me when I first took delivery of my R1T in Sept of 2022. The soft and hard resets only brought a short term fix. Brought it in to the Denver SC and they said it was a cooling issue with the screens (they would overheat and then shut down). They bled the system, changed the coolant and no more issues.

Just to note, I asked the mechanic if the screens are liquid cooled because I read that online. He said the screens aren't, but the AXM module is. Don't know if that's accurate but that's what I was told in Chicago.

Thanks for the response and input. Rivian called and pushed new software, version 2024.19.06
So far (a few days) no issues. ......and I also love the truck, 2 years and counting.

I had the same issue couple of months ago. I was told the AXM module that controls the screens is liquid cooled and most probable developed a bubble.

Foe me the screens turned off around every 50 minutes. Guess hitting temp threshold in that time. They bumped up my appointment and got me in sooner as I did not have speedometer when they go off. According to tech it is supposed to show speed even if module is malfunctioning.

They had to change the coolant and AXM module as well. It never happened again.
