Spare Tire Question

Hi all,

I have an R1T with the 21' wheels/tires.

I just bought a set of OEM 20" wheels and am having a set of 275/60R20 Nokian Outpost nAT's mounted on them next week. This will match the outside diameter of the 21's, allowing me to not have to recalibrate the truck, and will also allow me to use one of my 21's as a spare (finally).

My question is - does the spare just sit in the area under the bed? Is there any mechanism to mount/secure it? I know if you buy the full size spare from the Rivian Shop, it comes with some accessories (jack, wheels chocks, etc.) but it doesn't mention any type of mounting kit.

Can anyone provide some insight here? Also any recommendations for a jack to haul to around in the truck?

I don't have an answer to your question, but what are you doing with the other three 21" wheels? I'm looking for a spare

I'm patiently waiting for my 21" spare to be delivered by the mobile installation tech. My order paperwork includes the following for mounting:

WINGNUT - SPARE TIRE RETENTION
Part# PT00052292-D

STUD - SPARE TIRE RETENTION R1T
Part# PT00052293-C

Ok - here's my solution. Whipped this up yesterday and just installed it.

3/4" Plywood with the Rivian logo. Makes a nice shelf and hope to store a jack and what not in there.
