Spare tire size

I got the 21 inch wheel, and plan to buy another set of aftermarket 20 wheel and snow tires for winter. Can I use the one of the snow tires/wheel as spare tire, if the tire diameter is different from the oem 21 inch wheel?

I wouldn't use mismatched OD tires for any substantial length of time.

I have a question along the same lines. If you have had a lot of your thread gone on all 4 tires after a few years and have a blow out and replace one with your unused spare of the same type and size, will your R1 pull and will need reprogramming because now the wheels are out of sync due to slight diameter difference? In other words, is this like the Subaru that if someone sneezes around a tire, you will have to replace all 4?
