Wait now I need to worry about bovine belching!
For the record I am anti human flatulence.
Now I've forgot what this ridiculous thread is even about.

I'm talking about reality, not a fantasy world.
Your rhetoric is so far beyond a civil debate and deep into personal attacks, that you're now sabotaging your own attempt to persuade anyone of anything. This will be my last reply in your direction, regardless of what you say next.

Nevermind that virtually nobody actually consumes grass fed.
So now you're calling me a nobody. Thanks. :)

I chose to settle here precisely because we have an intact _grass_finished_ beef culture here. Yep, we're small fries, and the vast majority of the beef industry is doing it wrong, and and and. But, sure, throw out the baby with bathwater like the proponents of the ridiculous PAUSE Act, Oregon's IP3 proposal, etc are trying to do. Cause those aren't fantasy land proposals at all.

No, I'm not in favor of slashing forests, or CAFOs, or any of that. But you're insisting that meat production can't be done in a carbon negative manner, which I take personal offense to. Because I live in reality, and we're doing it here.

Bye.

You're intentionally misquoting me. I never attacked you personally. You're taking it personally because apparently you are personally invested in that industry in some way, which seems to be blinding you to the bigger picture. I said "virtually nobody" because as I also cited, grass fed accounts for 4% at most.

I’ll give up my combustion engine. No way I’m giving up beef. Mostly because I believe that plant based diets are a disaster for human health.
Weird how cultures/locations where people have the longest lifespan are almost entirely plant based.

And I for one have lived my entire life without eating meat and been completely vegan for 17+ years and I'm in the great shape, the best of my life; people regularly think I'm in my early to mid 30s. I'm in my mid 40's.

Not sure how to feel about this topic. I feel inclined to both sides.
Those who say this is good for Rivian, you guys feel the same way about Tesla making nearly $2B from the same system?
