Steering Wheel Trim Parts Now Available Separately

The trim on the lower rear portion of my steering wheel has peeled 3 times now in my 2023 R1S. The first 2 times Rivian replaced the entire wheel but looks like they can now replace just certain parts of the wheel. Finally!

I pulled the part number for the rear plastic portion of my steering wheel and it is currently listed for $79+tax or $100+tax for the front bezel trim on Rivian's parts portal. The entire ocean coast wheel is $1330.

Great news for anyone out of warranty wanting the trim replaced on their wheel that has been wearing but not wanting to spend big bucks on a replacement wheel!

Argggg, got it. Thanks for the info. I've been trying for 2 weeks but my emails keep getting bounced back with the error being that their mailbox is full...

They just need a better way for Rivian owners to order parts. For people like me having the whole parts portal is awesome, but a normal owner doesn't necessarily want that. They want someone they can go to and say "hey I need this part how much?". In theory that should be the SC but apparently a lot of them aren't good at that either.

If you need anything though I do have access just message me.

Agreed. In my case though, this is business related but I cant figure out how to get to anyone...

I'll try reaching out to the delivery center or my salesman, maybe they can get me across the finish line...
