I had my truck into service a few weeks ago to have a noisy fan/sensor assembly replaced in the dash, which apparently required removal and replacement of the steering wheel. Most of the time since it has been serviced the steering has felt stiffer than before, needing quite a lot of torque to get it 'moving'. LKA has problems correcting the vehicle sometimes.
It might be my imagination, but it seems worse when the cabin is hot (e.g. sitting in hot parking lot all day). Tonight I noticed at really slow speeds that the wheel almost had a click click sensation (it doesn't make noise) - felt like a ball bearing binding as it moves from one to the next around a race.
I asked the SC if they could have possible put it on too tight, but haven't really had a response back. Wondering if anyone on here has had a similar issue at some point and had it resolved.
