Does anyone know of a sunshade for the glass roof? I have seen companies doing them for Teslas, I hope they do one for the Rivian soon. I have the feeling this truck was not made with hor climates in mind, here in Florida the amount of heat coming through the glass is significant, you can feel it above your head so good luck with the a/c. Then the a/c churns up and you end up with the most annoying vibrations and noises from the a/c fan I have ever experienced in any car.

Yep. [HeatshieldStore](https://www.heatshieldstore.com/car-window-shades/2022-rivian-r1t-crew) has 'em. It's a *VERY* tight fit, you have to stuff the corners between the headliner and the glass, but it works great.

Even in Oregon, I felt the sun heating the top of my head; ordered one of those shades day one of ownership.

I saw a picture of a new one coming out soon supposedly. A mesh one that you can still see through somewhat. No details.

Thanks, I was thinking more of a piece that would look like a headliner. The mesh one that Kyle mentioned might be the ticket.

If I was feeling my usual level of OCD, I'd aim all the little circles (suction cup pulls) to be aligned. It definitely doesn't look like "headliner material" - it is solid black from below. (Although you can choose one that is white underneath instead of black.) It isn't directional, you can have either way be front or back. I put it the way it is because it has a velcro strap, that if I put it in this way, the strap is at the back, and I tuck it up above between it and the glass. If it falls down, it isn't a huge nuisance. If it falls down when the other way so the velcro strap is toward the front, it's mildly annoying.

I was told that EV Sportline is working an electronically controlled tint film for the sunroof. Supposedly will have several levels darkness. I don’t know when it will be available, but sounded pretty cool.
