Yeah, I'm calling BS on both the disabling and the C&D letter.
Real C&D letters don't just have "Dear Mr. Huey", they have the full name and address of the person being complained against.
Tesla wouldn't remote-kill a vehicle in traffic over a trademark violation, that would open Tesla up to *HUGE* liability if it did it when the vehicle was in a location that it would be a severe hazard.
This is 100% a marketing stunt by the musician.
