I hadn't paid attention to this previously, but now having googled it a bit - I see you're right.Tesla’s Board is made of Musk puppets. It is not an independant Board and he will survive as long as he wants. May be some day he will realize by himself he should step down, even is it’s only an illusion…
Oof. Guess it’s time to go with Tesla’s insurance. Maybe that’s all part of the master planHere it is…![]()
While not majority perhaps, I’m a homeless conservative since the GOP somehow now hugs Russians, wrecks our fiscal landscape, and has abandoned free trade, among other conservative tenents. You learned through this thread that the majority of Rivian owners are not conservatives.

Reagan rolls in his grave. Hopefully, in a Rivian.
To be fair, and I've talked about this before, but there is little (truly, no) competition providing the same level of service. I'm currently working on a contract for internet connection at a remote government facility. No broadband or fiber connections exist, so we'd have to pay tens of thousands ourselves to run it, leaving us with 5G or satellite. We've had LTE for a while, but the pucks can't handle increased volume and adding more is more expensive than a new satellite connection. For the monthly bandwidth and volume we need, Starlink is unfortunately both the lowest bidder and highest bandwidth/volume.SpaceX is also the vendor for Starlink, which is now conveniently being wedged into every Federal agency Leon visits.

That use case makes complete sense to me - and I'm not saying it's not the best option for similar situations. That may not be the case at federal HQ buildings around DC, or across the FAA.To be fair, and I've talked about this before, but there is little (truly, no) competition providing the same level of service. Not to mention underway connectivity... My last cutter was the first test Starlink underway in 2021, it was and remains blazing fast compared to legacy connections. Starshield has been a game changer.

Yep. It's MAGA doing all the vandalizing. Same as when BLM attacked the capitol on Jan. 6thMany people are bigly saying it's a false flag. MAGA attackers.
It’s honestly just a far superior solution to any other satellite based communication. The difference is magnitudes of order, not just a slight improvement. I use Starlink at home, on the road, and for work and there simply is nothing else that can compete.SpaceX is also the vendor for Starlink, which is now conveniently being wedged into every Federal agency Leon visits.
Nothing wrong with voting your conscience and nothing wrong with purchasing and boycotting based on your conscience. In fact we should all do so. Too bad that a good car is seeing the consequences of a bad man.I'm not a Tesla fan but seems silly to me to base your car choice on current events and politics. Elon was this crazy for a while so not really an excuse for abandoning now.
Also the nut jobs attacking Tesla cars are all sorts of unhinged, these were the people who wanted ev's to save the planet and now torching them due to politics. How is that really helping their goal of a more sustainable planet?
I agree 100% with this. Also a lot of good deal on new EVs, many Tesla vehicles purchased during that time did NOT qualify for a Tax Credit - still this is a big jump. If you want a lower payment you can sell/trade in your current Tesla for a cheaper monthly payment (if you lease), if you are buying your Interest rate will be double or more so not sure that is a good deal.Which simply says that 98.6% of trade-in were non-Teslas and that going up from 0.4% to 1.4% is probably due to leases expiration for people who didn't want to get another Tesla.
Many reasons for that includes what you all like point to as well as other incentives and options from other automakers. There are really low cost alternative leases out there currently.
If one considers economy tightening of the belt, personal expenditure on a vehicle payment may be headed lower simply to conserve funds in uncertain environments. Also vehicle payments have fallen behind to a record level, meaning that more people are past due over 60 days on their payments.
Its hard to actually make any meaningful interpretation without the entire data and the context.
