Yeah the things you use all the time.

yeah I never drove the first gen S but we got the truck so it wasn’t really a concern. Personally I think they all kind of ride poorly compared to a proper truck with tuned coilovers. Air IMO has no place in a suspension.

I believe the 12V was removed in the 2024 models, correct? Are some 2023 models missing them as well?

Does that mean that 2024 model year owners needn't fear the infamous 12V issue?

My microwave is 1.3 cu ft, and the difference here is only 1.2 cu ft (from 11.1 cu ft to 9.9 cu ft)

I’ll gladly give up the space smaller than my small microwave any day for space for a heat pump and reduced cabin noise.

Let’s be real, at least for me, I rarely use the frunk of my Tesla Model X because there is plenty of space in the trunk for everyday stuff. The frunk is definitely useful for road trips once in a blue moon when everything is packed to the max.

How much quieter is the cabin? This is my only (major) gripe with my R1S. It picks up so much wind noise at higher/freeway speeds. Not sure what they did to fix as there is still the same amount of glass. I would consider moving from my quad to a dual max w/ boost upgrade if the cabin was considerably quiet.

I think they replaced one 12V battery with a capacitor. So there is still one 12V in the new trucks.
