Park City, Utah to Las Vegas yesterday. 450 miles south on I-15. Stopped in Beaver, Utah at EA chargers. 4 charger station, 2 filled with Ford Lightings. Plugged into 350 amp charger, walked across the street for coffee and bathroom break. By the time I got back to truck I had all the range I need to get to St, George, Utah. 12 minutes. Biggest complaint was I did not have time to clean my windshield. Stayed the night in St. George with friends, Charged at another EA charger for 15 minutes and drove to Vegas early this morning. It was all very easy. Will use RAN in Vegas before return on Saturday. Travel in the Rivian is getting easier all the time. Drove 75 and 80 mph most of the way in conserve mode on 21 inch wheels.

Are most of you using Conserve on the highways for road trips? I am but using all-purpose at all other times.

I’m worried about front tire wear, but I figure if it’s only used on the highway for long road trips, I should be ok.
I use conserve in low not lowest on highway for longer stretches. I do not notice any excessive wear like that and probably have over 4500 miles in conserve. I have 11.5k miles and recently did my second rotation, tires all look good even wear around 7/32 left on all 4 tires.

Drove from Bend to Phoenix using Conserve Mode once I hit the flatlands near Redding. Since I was traveling thru California I wasn’t too concerned about finding chargers but I failed to anticipate the congestion at the chargers. EA was a mixed bag of 1) out of service, 2) reduced charging speed, and 3) worked great. EVGo and EVCS all worked well but were incredibly crowded. As expected traffic thru LA was a nightmare. Would’ve been quicker to detour thru Chicago.
