I have Ridgeline and LOVE the dual tailgate opening options. I was SO disappointed when R1T did not have drop down feature. They need to redesign it. Maybe Rivian execs should be forced to do daily removal of spare tire to give them incentive.

If you’re removing your spare tire daily that’s a whole different problem you’re having.

Biggest thing I’m sad they dropped is the electrochromic roof that was so cool. Also just found my 2018 pictures as well the frunk hooks were also nice. The front is also different because they took out the LiDAR.

I'm pretty sure they all do CrossFit and are happy to tell you about it while they box-jump on and off their tailgates.

The other thing I remember back when truck had that tailgate is I remember them saying that you could take a water hose and clean out cabin with no issues.

I just sit on the tailgate and roll my legs around. Or I climb up using the tire. I’m pretty flexible for 52. ?

I also have the side option of having my 11yo get stuff for me. It’s usually the best way to go.

Hmm maybe Rivian will debut a bed- sized lazy Susan then you can just spin it to reach items in the back

Or a flip down arm attached to the new and improved powerful tonneau? Picture a bowling lane pin clearing arm
