After many trips back and forth to our tire place and unsuccessful calls to Rivian, our tire pressure sensors are still not syncing with the vehicle. We have installed 3rd party snow tires and wheels. Is there any reset/code on the vehicle that anyone knows of that might help? We're at the point of just forgetting about them altogether and going the old fashioned way of checking tire pressure now and then.

You're listing 2 different sensors, RS-1000 and RS-2000, which one was installed? And did the tire shop select them or you? They likely need programming still, or at least cloning. If your shop has a programmer for that brand, and that brand has Rivian in their program, all they need to do is clone sensor IDs from the old tires into the new. This can usually be done wirelessly by sticking the reader against each set of tires.

Had the same problem. Multiple trips to reprogram. Final solution was to put in OEM sensors. Problem solved.

It's important to start syncing tires in the correct sequence. I believe start with fron driver side then go rear driver, rear passenger and finish with front passenger. Can't remember for if that's the sequence, but sure to remember at one of the front tires. I was also close to buying OEM, but this worked.

Interesting! I'm quoting the numbers from the invoice. Will have to call the shop on Monday to clarify. Thanks.

If you paid a place, definitely put it on them to figure out. I clone my own and they are flawless.

And just to add to this: I got snow tires/wheels with sensors installed shipped to me… put them on the R1 and didn’t do anything special: they just showed up.

On another vehicle, I installed the wrong sensors and the manufacturer gave me details on how to reprogram them (need tool)
