Funny, that's what I was charged. @ksurfier post your $60 invoice or I'm calling bull!$120.

I had it done at the SC when it was in for subframe replacement from a weld crack, and a leaky suspension. It was there for a couple weeks, tens of hours of labor, so I don't feel too bad about being charged for something. Thinking on it, it's the only thing I've ever been charged for.If it’s the only reason they come out then it makes sense to charge a small fee, otherwise the 5 minutes to reconfigure the software should be free…
What tires are you running - I just bought 35x11.5 as they were just a bit narrower than 295/65r20. How have your clearances been, done much off-roading?Why is everyone discussing wheel diameter changes in terms of Rim size? Can we not all just take a moment to figure out the diameter of our tires and discuss this properly. For example I run 295/65/20. so my wheels are 35.1" tall or 2.9% larger than stock. so at 102.9MPH my speedo will say 100MPH. I could have 15" or 24" rims but it the overall diameter of the tire or "wheel" (rim+tire) that matters.
Just think - if they'd spent 5 minutes adding it to the set up menu, a couple of years ago, each of us could have done it ourself (if and when needed), rather than having the service guy spend 5 minutes. If it’s the only reason they come out then it makes sense to charge a small fee, otherwise the 5 minutes to reconfigure the software should be free…
You don’t know the average consumer than if you think that adding that to the menu is easy. The average consumer will choose a different size tire in the menu and call to complain/sue because his tires didn’t change to the option he chose on the menu.Just think - if they'd spent 5 minutes adding it to the set up menu, a couple of years ago, each of us could have done it ourself (if and when needed), rather than having the service guy spend 5 minutes.
I'm being facetious - it would have taken more than 5 minutes to add it. But that's about as basic a menu item as there is. Other than adding jingle bells or owl hoots.
