Tonneau cover auto opening

Recently, I noticed 3x in the app that my tonneau cover is showing as open. When I go to the truck it looks closed but when I press the tonneau button, it basically closes 1/2". Anyone else experiencing something similar? Wonder if a tonneau reset would just fix it or is it indicative of a bigger problem. And this the V2 tonneau that was replaced during the first round of warranty work.

Yes, but it went away after cycling it a couples times and a hard reset. So who knows what changed.

you need to recalibrate the tonneau cover by, pushing the tonneau cover button 4 times and on the fourth press and hold 10-30 seconds. It’s in the manual.

mine recently started acting up it wouldn't retract all the way in and when it pushed the button to close it it would hit the tailgate and open itself back up. Called Rivian and they tried to have me manually reset it which is a series of presses of the button. When that didn't work they made a service appt. Service center called and said they were going to send out a mobile tech to try a reset which is apparently a little more involved than just the button. He was done in 5 minutes and it's working again.
