IMO, if they can keep this under $60K, I think Toyota will sell these well
They could but probably only for the FWD XLE model. The cheapest Grand Highlander hybrid is already $50k. Fully loaded ones are over $60k. Couple years later we could probably get a used one for under $45k.

People who know, know that lack of a frunk is a huge miss. But people who know is not the target buyer. If the range is good for the price then I'm sure people will buy.
