Okay here's my question I was traveling from point a to point b which was Portland to Bend Oregon. Yes I know how to get home. But I was playing around with my map trip. And whatever I did it wanted me to go recharge. But I had enough to get home and then some. When I got home I had 55 miles left.

1. Why does the Rivian map check want me to recharge in Madras or even potentially go to prineville?

2. How do I turn it off so it doesn't tell me that I need to charge when I don't need to charge?

3. I tried to change the charging stations to different companies. I tried to remove all charging stations and not look for any and show them on the map. But still it picked charge point at that time.

4. Can someone enlighten me about this?

Thanks

Chris

1. select the “up” arrow in the bottom left-hand corner.
2. select “remove charging stops”

not sure of a way to ignore charging stops while navigating, but it might be in settings?!?

If you go into the trip settings you can lower the minimum SOC at arrival, which is probably why it’s saying you need to stop and charge. By default I believe it’s usually at 20%.

And it is very conservative in my experience. I routinely remove charging stops and get the red warning about making it and then get home with 30 miles. I don’t recommend rolling the dice but if you make similar trips pay attention to the range and you can self calibrate (bearing in mind that cold temps will impact range).

What he said. It's in the Gear icon.
