Agreed. It glows blue or green or white but never off, which is what I set that as.

Well, that’s interesting. Mine turns white when fully charged. But if I turn that option to “off” it doesn’t glow at all and looks like this:

does putting it in camp mode change your result?

It has to be locked.

Charge port light absolutely goes off if you change the settings.

Mine is sometimes off, but not always, even when locked and away from the vehicle for an hour. I have it configured to always be off. I need to collect more data and file a bug report.

With lights disabled, my R1S will be completely dark when charging locked, but glow green when finished (and still locked). I use a ChargePoint Home Flex and not a Rivian charger; perhaps that has something to do with it. Or maybe it’s just buggy.

I don’t use a Rivian charger either, just an Electrify America branded one. FWIW, definitely sounds like a bug. Mine will light up green momentarily when charging kicks in again to maintain top charge, but promptly goes back out.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I would think/hope camp mode would be a potential workaround. It has the option to keep all exterior lights off.

I didn’t know that camp mode disables the lights. That’s great. I need a solution for every night, though.
