And ironically if you buy a Tesla in SC you have to pick it up in NC. Rivian lawyers vs Tesla lawyers on interpreting state laws lol.

Your posted delivery on page 1 is the same as mine. Did you go secondary market for these?

I have 3 different delivery locations and 2 are major metro areas with interest in Launch Edition. Obviously an early R1 owner, day 1 reservations, feel like I got blacklisted.

For 3k more for Launch FG/CC interior you get Performance (3k upgrade?), better wheels (2k upgrade) and Autonomy+ for life (2.5k) that is like like free 4.5k in ugrades... IMO this is a no brainer. That's assuming I want what YOU want I have no interest in the 21-inch wheels. I want 20-inch wheels, period.

The Autonomy+ package isn't a big deal to me. I've been spoiled by FSD, and Autonomy+ isn't anywhere close at this point. So until it gets to that point, I'm not really bowled over by it.

There's a $4,000 spread between the two in the way that "I" would configure them. Personally, I don't need three-way dampers or 600+ HP. But I'd love $4,000 in my pocket.

The Count's says "order within 4-8 weeks" instead of the more precise month range others are getting. also says then 4-8 weeks after order for delivery. So Rivian really expects The Count to wait 4 months? In this heat?

No, all primary. It seems like the very early people were matched to vehicles that were already at the service centers or in process. I also have a history of tripping over myself to get a car right away, and we just finished the quarter.

FWIW, I don't know if there's risk or not but probably not a good idea to publish your reservation numbers on a message board. Who knows what bad actors could do with that?

For context: I am an R1 owner since 8/22/22, put my R2 deposit in within the first 30 minutes on March 7, 2024, and live about 70 miles from a SC. I also opted in for the Launch Edition.

Similar. I am R1S owner. Placed order within hour or 2 on 3/7/24. Performance launch edition. I was given 4-8weeks Lol. Im in San Diego. I guess I can wait.

I reserved my R2 on July and now is told I can buy between December 2026 and February 2027.
Today I wrote back to RIVIAN asking that they provide some kind of special finance deals like 0.5%. This would sale a lot of RIVIAN R2. I

Preorder Day 1 reservation here and R1S owner for about 2 years now. They gave me Dec2026-Feb2027 order estimate, which is fine with me because I like my R1S just fine. Hoping actually they will refresh the R1S w Gen3 hardware and to have a more spacious second row because I prefer the size.

Invited to order August-September 2026. I placed a reservation the first day. They just opened a service center about ten miles away a couple of months ago. I took a demo drive on Father's Day.

Someone mentioned that feels like an AI estimate, but it’s strange. Feels like there must be some difference.
