Skyote, I have a close up I can post tomorrow sometime of the door looking bit part open. It looks pretty blank behind it, like just flat plastic. I could easily see it being a small storage area though.

In Seattle I asked. I was told it was blanked in the demo vehicles but would be storage in the production vehicles.

Everyone, new video has been posted by The Buzz of the event in Normal/Bloomington. Well done, good information. They interview a local resident with background/experience in automotive engineering who speaks about the community and the former Mitsubishi operation. Also good footage of the R1T and R1S.
