I was scheduled to have my R1T delivered to my home in New Hampshire back on March 20, 2024. Subsequent Rivian cancelled my delivery and moved it to March 27th at 10:00am. On the morning of the delivery day I received a call that one of their two delivery trucks was inoperative. Rivian asked if they could drive my new truck to my home, just over 100 miles and return they would waive the $1000 delivery fee.
i consented to their request in return for a cash saving of $1000. I was informed that Rivian would send me a check in 6-8 weeks. It has now been over 10 weeks and I still have not received the waived delivery fee. I have contacted my Rivian guide and it seems that there is a disconnect between the employees that waived the fee and the party distributing the checks.
Has anyone had a similar experience or can offer a recommendation to resolve this matter?
