Was changing my cabin filter on my R1T. I noticed the water drains into the electrical. They are drains near/under the wiper blades that Chanel water into the electrical. What’s up with that. Looks like it’s intentionally drain water into that area. Any thoughts ? ? SEE ATTACHED VIDEO.

I don't see what the problem is. It's not a sealed area and all the connections are water tight.

Water doesn’t pour into that compartment, it trickles in. All critical connections are using sealed connectors. Every thing else can get wet. No big deal.

If you really wanted to, you could hose everything off under that upper trim piece.

I think it’s an interesting insight for sure as it is not obvious to the layman that it’s ok for water to enter this area full of cables, batteries and devices.

I too was wondering about that when it was raining and I had to briefly open my frunk and saw the water running into this area. Thanks OP for posting and resolving my concern and thanks to the community for confirming it’s not a concern.

I don't really see where the snark came in. No one implied anything about the OP. Some of us here really need to harden up a bit. Frankness isn't snark. In fact the only real snark came from your comment for the implication there was something wrong with the other responses simply because they were short and to the point.
I’ll fight you.
Not really.
Point taken - I’ve edited my original post.
