So this past weekend I did a trip to the Northeast kingdom of Vermont and only had access to 110 charging overnight. I was very nervous about this since a lot of discussion said that I would probably lose power on 110 in very cold temps. It was -18 overnight from Friday into Saturday but I was able to still gain 1 mile per hour on 110.

I've attached a graph of my results.. I started the trip in MA with 100% battery charge, stopped in White River junction to get a charge up to 85% and then plugged in at the INN I stayed in when I arrived. That was from about 1pm on Friday until 8am on Saturday. I then drove to the fat bike event and left the truck in the cold until about 3:30pm, back on 110 until Sunday morning when I left around 8am. Stopped one more time at White River junction and charged up to 90% (Denny's was slow). One more stop in Keene, NH to get another fat bike ride in on the way home.

Overall trip stats:
Total Distance: 429.4 miles
Average Speed: 49 mph
Duration moving: 8 hours, 47 mins
Efficiency: 1.56 mi/kWh
Total Energy: 275.4 kWh

I don't have actual readings from outside, just the cabin temp reading.

I had 50 miles of resrve when I arrived at the INN, without the 110 power I think I would have been much much lower. I was happy to just not lose power in the cold.

BTW - The Wildflower inn is lovely! Great staff and the owner is working to add proper L2 destination chargers. In the mean time they will let you plug into their outside outlet.
