When does your new registration expire?

Rivian decided to provide a new license plate instead of transferring my existing plates even though I selected the option to transfer.

Now I'm out the difference between transferring and purchasing a new tag. The guide is totally useless and won't do anything about it. Whatever.

Now I get my new plate in the mail with registration and it expires in December of this year. What!?

So I paid a few hundred dollars for a new plate and I already have to renew it?

Anybody that got new plates, did you at least get a year before they expired?

I just got empty promises. They never expire.

After hearing about so many not getting plates, I was surprised mine came well before the temp tag expired.
