Just courious what the timeline was like for current owners to go from signed PBA to 8-step process, and then delivery?

Do you get the VIN in email, or just a notification email to start the 8-step buying process?

I find myself logging into the portal WAY too frequently, expecting to be surprised. The anticipation is a real struggle! :fingerscrossed:

I got an email notification that the purchase process has started, it was within a couple of days of signing my PBA.

There have been zero customer deliveries of the R1S. They seem to be doing the PBA differently than the R1T, so the answer is we don't know.

Wishful thinking that they have a standarized process... only time will tell. I drive through the Plymouth lot about once a week. Two weeks ago there were 50ish R1Ts and 7 roll-off delivery trucks sitting there. This past Sunday there were only about 20 trucks, so they seem to be delivering quite a few in my area. The only R1S in the lot had a manufactur plate and a camo type wrap on it.

I'm hoping that being in Plymouth improves my chances of a quick delivery process!

You and me both. I've seen the wrapped R1S around town a few times, but that's the closest I've been to a R1S.

It seems with the R1Ts they had something of a stockpile, maybe waiting on a software update or something, so when they sent out PBAs the trucks were often already sitting in the lot and the line was already making them daily. That made it a very quick turnaround.

As of right now they haven't made any customer R1S', so it seems they are gathering PBAs in preparation for a phase of R1S production. When that begins is anyone's guess but I'm sure we'll get a post as soon as anyone gets the 8-step process for an R1S.
