Completely random question, I know, but...

Does anybody happen to have a Brompton and can answer whether a folded Brompton can fit in the frunk? Or maybe in the spare tire storage compartment of an R1S?

Starting at the end of July my commute will change due to transit stuff. I'm considering getting a Brompton or other folding bike to leave in my R1S most of the time, just grabbing it when I commute. Ideally it would be stored in a hidden part of the vehicle like the frunk. If I can't hide it there, I can probably get by just throwing it in right before my commute, but it'd be nice to leave it -- which would also mean I can have it with me on road trips in case I want to venture a little further from a charger.

I love those folding bikes but I felt ridiculous riding one.

Yeah, I get it. But on the flip side, a leisurely pace on a bike is still faster and less sweat-inducing than a fast walk when dealing with Atlanta summers.

We have a couple Bromptons that we really enjoy. Unfortunately, it does not fit in the frunk.

If you're not going uphill, the Dynamic scooter is an option that will fit in frunk: https://dynamicscooter.com/

Totally agree. If given the choice I would always rather bike vs walk. I like your plan.
