In the spring (and winter) it feels like features turn off constantly. Most of the time it's just a small bit of pollen/dust/snow obstructing a sensor and it's near impossible for me to tell which one. Really wish there was a simple screen telling me what features are disabled and why (ie which sensors are unable to read). Instead I learn in real time that functions are disabled and I need to guess why based on what stopped working.

Has anyone found a good mid-term solution? My current approach of learning of an issue on the road followed by scrolling through settings to figure out what's disabled/guessing which sensor/s to clean when I get where I'm going.

I've had my R1T for almost two years and I have no idea what you mean by this. Are you sure it's not just a problem with your vehicle? Maybe, for example, water or condensation in the camera lens?

I have owned for about 20k miles and 18 months, in Pennsylvania. I think the only time I have ever had a alert about a sensor was due to ice or snow, which was obvious because of the snow/ice on the ground, same as other vehicles. I could see dust/dirt being in issue in certain climates, if you are driving around dirt roads with little rain.

Condensation on lenses is a common issue as well, but that's transient. It's also easy to spot and clear. Pollen/Dust/Dirt are way harder to spot. It could certainly be a faulty sensor in my case, but that's not the point. The point is that a lot of features are dependent on a lot of sensors/can be disabled by an obstruction. A screen that just told you what features are off and what sensor/s triggered it would be easy to implement and super helpful regardless of the cause.
