I wanted to share a very positive purchase experience. I hope this helps others that are in the process. My guide, Devin, contacted me around the same time I received shop access. Her first intro email told me about her family and hobbies. This made it feel more friendly and less business, specially because we share a similar love for running and yoga. Devin was extremely patient with all my questions and kept me informed about the process. I changed my mind on the config at least three times. Once the initial config was confirmed, Devin helped me with the 8-steps and let me know as soon as the car was on the train. She made it so easy, I kept sending emails asking if there was anything I missed.
Once the car was on the train, Easton (Dallas SC) sent me a text. Again, a very communicative and easy interaction. Even though the car was still on the train and there wasn't a need to update me, Easton, sent regular updates. As soon as the car was at the SC, Easton sent me a text which was followed by a request to pick up the car with some time/day options. It's a bit hot here so, I asked for a morning time and Easton was very accommodating. When I arrived at the SC and met Easton it seemed like I'd known her for years. The "paperwork" took a couple of minutes and then I was introduced to my car. This is where I turned into a five year old asking a million questions even though I had researched the car night and day. Easton was very nice and explained everything in great detail so this five year old could understand.
I also want to thank Deshan. I somehow ended up with Deshan on both test drives. I'm not sure why he didn't make a run for it when he saw me the second time because I had spent most of the first test drive asking question after question. He was gracious enough to come by and meet me when he found out I was taking delivery. I'm sure he had better things to do but it was very thoughtful. I also received a call from Rivian as soon as I got home. Wish I could remember the kind gent that called to see how things were. There is a consistency of smiles, kindness and a general feeling of warmth when you "work with" people at Rivian. Not sure what's in the water there but it's great. That is my experience. As an aside-I was not asked to write this but everyone should get recognition for a job well done! Cheers!
