Sometimes I park my trailer on an area of my driveway with a slightly negative slope. Since the R1 doesn’t have creep, I find it easier to put the truck in neutral on final approach to the trailer’s hitch while using the rear camera for guidance.
I’ve found what I consider a bug when camera mode is engaged in neutral. I’ll select the rear view, and then modulate the brake to creep up on the trailer. Usually, after a few seconds, the camera view will magically revert to forward view all by itself…usually just at the time I need it most. So I’m constantly having to force it back into rear-view mode while trying to cajole the ball under the hitch socket.
I would expect that the camera would stay in my selected mode until I change it again, and can’t think of a reason where this would be a feature vs a bug.
