I just changed my wheels to the dark 20s but it took me a week to work up the nerve to do it for fear it might move me further back in line:headbang:

I play games in my head, what do I really want? Then I start thinking “maybe if I log on a bunch, they will see I am really interested” of course this is all false but it helps me imagine someone really cares about every time I log in. And of course make changes based on my feelings of cost/benefit.

I probably changed my configuration once a week up until they sent out the delivery estimate email in Dec. Since then I've been too scared to change it. But I will say after seeing El cap/BM in person I'm happy.

I hear that. I didn’t think the dark 20s were worth the $3500 upcharge but the Rivian wheel sizing is so specific that you can’t find any aftermarket wheels that size right now. I wish your theory was right about logging in - I would be rising up the production list rapidly if that were true.

Oh I would definitely be too scared to change it after I got that email. What is your delivery window?

I am also afraid to change anything. Even though We have an early order (08/28/2018), we have a delivery date in the first half of 2023 because we chose the Explore Model.

I’m so so close to doing the same, and have the same fear.

Since you’re going with the explore model and the delay is because they won’t make any of those until later on I would assume you might be safe to make changes? But I get it…

Don’t tell me that. Now you’ve got me thinking I’m missing out on that FE interior.

I swapped to an R1S LE after the estimates came out, wish I had done it before hand.

I go back and forth if I really want to spend $3500 on the dark 20's. Right now I have them on there.

Today I got it into my head that I might want the midnight exterior w/ the black rims. But then I feel like maybe it'd look a little too "young" for me. Also, that's $5k for the paint and wheels

I had the opportunity to move to the Adventure Model last month. I declined because I really want the Explore.

I removed the FE from my configuration yesterday and switched to Black Mountain. I’ve decided that I’m not going to pay for FE without seeing it in person first because I really need to get a feel for how much I like the green, especially with the headliner. I know I will like Black Mountain. I just need to know if I will like Forest Edge more.

Nothing is too young for anyone. Get what you want! I won’t do all black again. I had a Honda Ridgeline “Black Edition” for a year and I was obsessively washing it. Traded it in for a white Tacoma TRD pro and now the planets are aligned again… I went with LA Silver for my R1T.
