As of this moment, there are 7 orders in the tracker. It's interesting that 4 of the 7 don't have an estimated delivery. Seems odd.

Also, as expected, all 7 are current R1 owners with Day 1 reservations

For reference for others. I had found the link for reserving the R2 early back in 2024. I was hammering that site, and I was able to get in SUPER early. I want to say it was around 9:54 AM before the 10 AM opening. I also own a R1T and I am within 8 miles of two SC's. Also I am a teacher first, and other things second.

A similar thing happened today with the demo rides. I was able to find the site location for the R2 demos and it opened at 5:45 am this morning.

As a fellow Seattleite, congrats to you! Were you already able to get an R2 demo drive in Seattle? I live in hope...

So doing some basic algebra - approximately 2.4k people bothered to fill out the R2 reservation form on this site out of approximately 250-300k total R2 reservations. If we assume roughly the same enthusiasm / reporters on this site - today we have 8 orders - so roughly 1-1.5k email invites went out on day one so far. I guess that makes sense given the production ramp but I should probably slow down the email refreshes. I haven't hit refresh this much since the early 2000s.

The good news is that I found this on the site

“R2 deliveries have started and we are currently inviting reservation holders to order in rolling batches. By the end of June, all reservation holders will receive an estimate of when they can expect their order invitation.”

FWIW I ordered a few months ago and just got this email. Maybe it’s just generic and everyone got one, but a few weeks seems very soon for an April 2026 order. Did not want launch edition either.

Guessing referral codes are not applicable to R2 orders?

I thought that might change but maybe the referral program will remain R1 only?
