My Launch Green R1T arrived yesterday!

Happy to report my launch green R1T arrived yesterday! Now happily picking up kids in a much sweeter ride.

The truck is amazing. I’ve never been happier to drive to work in my life.

Glad to answer any questions. The delivery process was super smooth. The only issue I ran into was accessory availability. Per my guide, the all weather mats, tent and crossbars aren’t currently available, at least not in SoCal. To be honest, I can wait a couple of weeks, after waiting over three years for the truck!

Quick question: Regarding accessories, is it that they will be sent later and we can pay for them now or are they suggesting to remove it from our config altogether and later order through gear shop?

Good question. The crossbars, field kit and mats will be shipped asap. No need to purchase separately. My guide said the tent isn’t ready and will need to be bought through the shop when available. Looks like you can sign up to be notified when the tent is ready for purchase, and I did so.

@JDMD, will the truck let you drive at low speed with the driver's door open? Forward? Reverse? Does it matter if your seatbelt is buckled?

Congrats. Sweet wheels. It is about time.

If you feel like getting down and dirty, I would love to see where the speaker for the low speed noise maker is. I am already dreaming about how to reduce the noise. If you don’t feel like it and rather just staying inside the cabin instead , I completely understand.

The “grille” for the speaker is on the underside a bit ahead of the front wheel. You can see it in photos.

Truck looks sweet, congrats. I’m in So Cal as well. So far I have only seen one R1T driving down the road (opposite direction so didn’t see much). Hope to see more soon as these deliveries ramp up.

I'm pretty sure it has to do with keeping the same process for everyone and not being allowed to sell something financed that they can't deliver.
