I fail to see what Apple has to do with Amazon most likely getting first dibs on ownership of Rivian (if it gets to that).

Yep, market not impressed. RJ was on the defensive and it was clear to me he was not comfortable on the call. I missed the Q and A, but sounds like that didn’t go well either.

You missed the infamous Jiten Behl during the Q and A. He answered a question about cancellations due to the price increase. I have a feeling he was on the call just to respond to the whole price debacle because he was mostly responsible for the decision. I would feel much better if he was replaced with someone with more experience.

What does everyone feel based on yesterday's call?

Will the stock trend more towards $30 or stay at $40 or trend towards $50?

40s for awhile now. Dipping into the 30s could happen if the US takes a hard stance on China. Unsure of how many eggs Rivian has in China's basket from a supply chain standpoint.

I actually found the info on the call to be good news overall. We already knew that production thus far was low, so official confirmation of that does not seem like it should have been that big of a deal (but I'm sure that is why the price is down today). And everything else they discussed I found quite encouraging.

My gut feeling is that we are now/soon to be at the lowest low and that it will begin a slow upward march toward infinity.
