Phone calls are just typing the number or selecting the contact.

No text at all.

Alexa is OK. Not near enough control over the vehicle. I was told that she can control "anything the screen can" which is FAR from accurate.

I have had her run home automation routines and make announcements. All the echo stuff works like you would expect (if you have an Echo auto you know exactly how it works).

I lack the patience to even experiment with "Hello ID". And I haven't actually messed with Alexa in the R1T yet either. I remember my husband tried a bit, and while I don't remember exactly what he asked her to do, they were all very simple things and none of them worked.

I don't think so. I suspect a kneel mode will come eventually, but for now, if you say put the height at max to get some underside photos, it's a big step down.

It's interesting you both commented the truck does not lower the height when you park. The R1S website states this happens automatically, so then I checked to see if the R1T site states the same. It does NOT. I wonder why this feature is only applicable to the R1S. I assumed stuff like this would apply to both vehicles, but I guess not.

What kind of push notifications do you receive from the Rivian app? For Tesla, the app can send a push notification when the car starts charging, charging is interrupted, done charging, software update available, car alarm goes off, etc. Can you send a screenshot of your phone when you receive a notification from the Rivian app?
