Via ACH the payment is absolutely 100% processed at time of Step 7 with a day to transition from pending to complete. $80K is no longer in my account and is no longer 'pending'......kinda odd to be hanging out like this with nothing more than it shouldn't be more than a couple of days before Step 8 is unlocked and you can schedule a delivery.....

My ACH was processed ($80K debited) 24 hours after I set up with BofA. Delivery is next Tuesday. Have you called your guide for assistance? Weird that so many are “stuck” after step 7

Right? I used Plaid and my Step 7 completed instantly

So I have my vin, but my guide said my truck hasn't been built yet. He said he was able to get the vin early to get the process moving. Wondering if this is accurate, almost everything he has told me with getting the PBA and digital ordering process has been off. Maybe the truck is actually in L.A?

Most cars get the vin assigned when they are sequenced for production, I assume rivian is the same

I heard VIN isn’t assigned until “delivery is taken” and that meant truck reached Rivian destination (i.e. service center)

Just got a call from my guide. First I’ve heard from them, but had a call with Toll Free Call as the caller ID.

El cap, black mountain, 20’s, off-road package and they tell me it’ll be here by the end of the month.

Guide stated yesterday, "As soon as your vehicle is complete at the service center (we are probably a few days out on PDI complete), then we can complete all the steps....." Guide is on vacation through Monday now.....

I'd hoped once I fixed my upload oversight on wire transfer receipt from bank that "pending approval" would clear quickly. Hasn't yet. Leaves me at coming up on 48 hours since wire with $ MIA, it would seem. I have to believe they've hit RIvian's BofA account by now. They just haven't mapped that deposit to my order yet.

I'd think having clean step 7 is pre-req for step 8 unlock, even if not immediately as some are seeing after their cleared step 7.

My guide said that Step 8 can be unlocked even with 5&7 as pending approval, as uploaded confirmation is usually enough to allow the process to move forward.

I too am nervous, especially since the beneficiary address is incorrect (all numbers and names are correct though) but I imagine by Mon or Tues, we’ll be fine.

Greg, You might try checking with your Guide. When I told mine I sent a Wire, instead of using Plaid, he checked my upload and said it was good. It stayed pending all day/night, until this morning. I'm not sure who does the approval. I suspect you're right about step 7 being completed before you can unlock step 8......Edit: I see in a post above where it's not necessary to complete step 7 before unlocking step 8, but all steps must be completed before delivery will be made.

My guide also said that the people who do the approvals for wires (and perhaps DL & insurance) are a part of a separate team.

It's good to know that your wire confirmation was approved within a day or so! That gives me hope for Monday.

This is false. Y'all keep saying FE aren't being contacted, we are. I was FE and offered to switch to BM a couple weeks ago and now I'm waiting for my BM delivery.

I would super love to be wrong on this and see the floodgates of FE open like what seems might be happening at the moment with OC. If a guide would reach out to me with any hint of delay, I would gladly switch to Rivian Blue & BM and hand over piles of cash! I could just change the config through the website, but I think I'd get the short end of the stick. I just want a truck dangit!

I'm thinking the first phase of builds was only BM, and now the second phase is OC. Apparently, FE is either the next phase, or FE itself could be delayed. Who knows? Certainly not Customer Service!

I’m in NorthEast Louisiana. I had guide contact last Friday the 11th, I instantly got my PBA and signed it and sent it back in and got confirmation. Tuesday my guide called and said that they didn’t see I had do the PBA, I sent screen shots to her of everything on my end and they accepted that. Yesterday my 8 step opened and I got all that done and wired the money. This morning they still didn’t show the wire but I sent confirmation of the wire on our end and they pushed it on through.
Long story short, 1 week from initial guide contact until the process was complete. My delivery is scheduled for Wednesday the 23rd. It’s going to come out of Dallas and that’s 4.5hrs from me so I’m assuming it was difficult to schedule that delivery.
In the end it will be 12 days from Guide contact until delivery and I’d assume I’m about as far from a service center as just about anybody. First Rivian in the state of Louisiana which is pretty neat.
