That's what that sound was! I heard it when we hit the forest roads this weekend. My wife thought I was crazy.

Could you try an experiment to see if the noise changes?
1) Adjust the suspension height, which changes the halfshaft/cv joint angle.
2) Switch to/from conserve mode, which powers 2 vs 4 motors/wheels and it cycles the magnetic clutches.

Also if cruise control goes that low, see if it happens with cruise control.

I'll give this a try when I get home, with cruise control too.

Not a thing. Park Assist is simply ultrasonic sensors and associated display.

Could anyone with an R1T post the diagonal measurements of the bed? Looking to ensure my longest set of skiis will fit in diagonally. as they wont fit in length-wise with the tailgate closed. I have started 3 different chat sessions with Rivian, but for some reason they don't have access to this info?

It's about 6'2" diagonal across two dimensions and about 6'4" diagonal across all three (using the vertical).

Looking for a measurement (factoring potential bulges in the bed lining etc , I already calculated an estimate using elementary school math).

While I'm not a Rivian mobile tech, your picture does look to be as having the reinforcement plate in place.

At home? connected to wifi? In a garage?

I wonder how much debug software they are running.

Things like constantly updating gps, searching for cell service in a low signal area, etc. All that can add up.

Home in a carport; temps. averaged in the low 50's; wifi was off.
