Curious why you have selected 21” standard wheels/tires with the $2000 off road upgrade.

I don't even have the off-road pkg option for my RS1. Is that a "Launch Edition" option?

I think it is actually called Off-Road Upgrade. Used to be how you got tow hooks. Now Tow hooks come with Adventure trim. Check your configurator.

Got the pricing reverted for the L.E. R1T that I originally ordered but they have not (yet) restored the second deposit put down in January (so original pricing) that I CANCELED on D-day. Has anyone seen a reactionary canceled vehicle restored on their Config page yet?

That bill has been dead for a while. No worries about the $80k anymore.

It’s not really an extra $1500. They lowered the base price of the Adventure package by $1500.

But now the debate is... Do I want a R1T, or a R1S... I am thinking about switching to the R1S. I already checked, and I would still get the Pre-D-Day pricing on the R1S.

I thought the tax credit was a 74000 price point, not 80000?

No, no, no! PT used to be included in the Adventure package. They lowered the base price by $1500 and made PT a $1500 option. Please don’t harass CS!

Hi Brian, It’s official: Your pre-March 1, 2022 preorder pricing is now reflected correctly on your Rivian Account Page and in the configurator. As a reminder: You can reconfigure your preordered vehicle and maintain pre-March 1 pricing. You can swap between R1T and R1S and maintain pre-March 1 pricing. Rivian accessories are also available at pre-March 1 pricing. While you’re in the configurator, you might notice some changes to options. We heard from many of you that you wanted more flexibility, so that’s what these options are designed to do. R1T Adventure and Explore packages now have three tonneau cover options: manual, powered or none. The default for these packages is no tonneau cover. If you select the tonneau cover associated with your prior build, it will match your old pricing. The powered tonneau cover comes standard on Launch Edition. The Off-Road Upgrade has been split up so you can select the Reinforced Underbody Shield and Tow Hooks as separate options. Tow Hooks come standard on Launch Edition and Adventure Package. NOTE: if you’d like to configure a post-March 1 option like Dual-Motor AWD or Standard battery pack, reach out to the Customer Engagement Center or your Guide, and we’ll walk you through it. I have done the same. I plan on purchasing a separate set of 20” wheels in the future. I want the better efficiency of the 21” wheels for the 99% of my driving. And there’s no way to get the “off-road” package added at a later time so getting with my initial order.
