Thanks very much @Longhorngirl. I've had silver cars/trucks all my life and that's what I originally chose. That's what I felt safe with. I wanted to go red, just to try something different, but I'm not quite that brave. I will say though, I don't regret switching to El Cap for one moment. It looks even better in person. I made the right choice for me and you'll be happy with whichever color you choose. There's not really a bad choice.? All I can say, is you're gonna love it.

I was Limestone/FE on my original config, but the waiting on a real example of Limestone changed my mind and I went ElCap. Now seeing both colors in the many pictures, I’m glad of my decision. The interior I also changed to Blk Mountain as I could not convince myself the color combo ElCap/FE was going to blend well.

Congrats on your delivery. It looks amazing and makes me even more happy with the combo I chose.

I did receive my R1T, today March 28th, around 12:30 pm and all went well. I had an exceptional delivery person. He was very thorough and took his time. My long wait is finally over. Hopefully everyone's experience will go as well as mine. A beautiful truck.

Have heard a couple instances of side windows not fully closing...not sure if that might be your issue. There's apparently a couple different reset procedures you can perform (sorry, I don't have instructions or links to other references, I just remember seeing them).

Contact support for details, and post back here if that turns out to be your issue.

The weatherstripping on the inside of the passenger side is wavy on mine and not flush on inside frame. Can hear a little noise at like 70. Look for that too.

Good for you! I finally got a guide and signed the PBA this past Wednesday. Hoping to hear more and would love to take possession this week.

He texted and asked if I was willing to come to Normal, which I jumped at. I was on a plane a few hours later and driving home a few hours after that. I would definitely mention it to your Guide if your are willing.

That item was non-negotiable in my delivery...but I received at a Service Center...not "Normal". They did state even the deliveries at the plant were being charged the fee.

Yes, delivery fee is one of the add-ons by manufacturers. The fee is the same for everyone and has nothing to do with the actual cost of delivering a vehicle. In theory, Rivian is estimating that number as the average cost of delivery per vehicle. So, someone who picks up in Normal is subsidizing the delivery to someone in Hawaii or Alaska.
