I was able to schedule my "first drive" experience today. It's in Portland, Oregon on 4/20. Maybe I should have scheduled it for 4:20 pm, but I haven't been stoned in 30 years...

Yeah, I got a guide assigned last Thursday and was able to complete the PBA the same day. This morning I got my "It's time to begin the purchase process" email. Working through the 8 steps and should have them completed by EOD tomorrow. My guide reached out this morning to see if I needed any help but it's pretty straightforward. Not sure about a delivery time until I complete the 8 steps. Pumped!

Small piece of advice. Your scheduled delivery (step 8) will open when it is ready for delivery whether or not you have completed the 8 steps. So if you don't want to insure and pay for your truck far in advance I would hold off until they tell you it is ready for delivery.

I did it this way, just a bit of a scramble the last couple days to make sure my delivery could happen.

I was contacted last month but only to offer me a black interior. I declined. Nothing since. Yesterday 2pm I texted my guide asking about OC delay rumors, changing delivery location to speed up process (willing to drive to pickup) and general timing update for my delivery... no response until 10am today - with zero answers. No answer on OC delay rumors, also no info on OC deliveries, no word on mine as 'waiting to be matched to a VIN' and.. "hopefully hear something in the coming weeks"... April/May delivery window.

So far, not impressed with my "guide". He's fairly new and has zero information even compared to what others have posted about their interactions.

Thanks. Completed all 8 steps earlier today and guide tells me they’re still firming up a delivery date. Looks to be either Wed or Thurs of next week but should have confirmation tomorrow.
