Let me explain the joke to you. As a group of first adopters of a tech product, there is an environment (vibe) that everyone is tech-savvy. The joke is that it’s ironic (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irony) that a member of such a perceived group did not know a basic function of another tech platform (twitter).

He just made an unneeded derogatory/belittling comment and referred to the people posting above. He didn't name names though, was that the funny part? It wasn’t a personal attack, it was a joke. It was followed my other jokes including one about someone’s mom blocking them and another about twitter being for old people - all also funny.

Let me explain this very simple concept to you, since you're having so much trouble with it. ...Oh man, that sounds kind of condescending... Oh well. You see there's this group of people that lack sincerity and empathy and they make "jokes" by belittling others. If they're called out on it, they don't apologize or adjust their behavior. They just talk about how others are too sensitive and how their comments are totally necessary, helpful, keep the threads short and sweet and a friendly and welcoming place.
Those on the cutting edge, must be so at all things, at all times. You are right, that is soooo funny. They have never used anything for the first time and been frustrated by the umpteen different ways, the umpteen different platforms do things, they are so dumb and deserve to be made fun of. Teehee, laughs, comedy ensued.
