Keeping an eye on that channel for their DIY camp kitchen. It had occurred to me that it might be possible to build a slide out box with a cook top etc.. for a lot less than $5K, so curious to see what they come up with.
You can replicate the functionality of the camp kitchen for $531. It won't be a slickly integrated package like the camp kitchen, but it will function nicely and the gear tunnel will remain available to store other stuff in.$40 for an induction cooktop from Best Buy (when it’s on sale)
$20 for a silicone sink from Amazon.
$100 for a foot pump water system? Can’t find this one.
$1500 for a gear shuttle.
Doable. But not as nice. $3000 worth of nice? Idk…
That's the first thing that popped in my head. A lot of negative "what-ifs" and nitpickingAh, yeah. Given these two are Tesla shills, not a surprising review. Too bad, because they seem like bright guys. I wonder if they did a similar nitpicking review of the first Model 3 batch?
I’m getting the kitchen because it is a good value considering the sum of its parts. Snow peak stuff is $2500 or so, gear tunnel shuttle $1500, making it all nicely integrated… I couldn’t replicate that for less money.Keeping an eye on that channel for their DIY camp kitchen. "Unbiased" huh.... the build quality is much better than initial Tesla vehicles.Ah, yeah. Given these two are Tesla shills, not a surprising review. Too bad, because they seem like bright guys. I wonder if they did a similar nitpicking review of the first Model 3 batch?
Yep, true investigative reportingThey also seemed to think that the Rivian had 18650 batteries. They really do their research. (sarcasm intended)
