In pics the Launch Green looks like it washes out in the sun, almost turning into a mossy green. True? I was LG forever but switched to El Cap because I haven’t had the opportunity to see in person.

I was El Cap with a black interior originaly but after going the the Sonoma event last November and getting to see all the interior colors black, white, & green and most of the exterior colors too I switched to Launch Green and FE the FE interior dose not photograph well its always looks more green in pictures than its actual is. The Launch green exterior is a very deep green almost it is almost a flat color with just light metallic spec's. Anyway once I saw them all in the flesh it was easy to pick what color I wanted to order.

I know Toyota is doing a lot of the flat colors and I’m just not a fan. My wife saw Forest Green last week and said it was beautiful. So, I’m really torn. LG, FG or El Cap? I think I’m just going to have to drive to Denver to see ‘em myself.

Sorry its not flat as in matt its flat as in it has less metallic in the color its a beautiful gloss finish

I know pics of Limestone come out looking powder blue but the reality is completely different. I’m hoping it’s a similar situation with LG.

Nah, employees, drive events, etc have had them since the fall. Had them in L.A. in November when I drove - drove a FE and an OC (wife) then. There have just been no real customer deliveries of OC or FE that we know of.

FWIW, just received and signed my PBA...OC interior! Maybe they are actually planning to make some s00n, who knows!

I do not think it will "Fade out" in direct sunshine If anything it will just be a rich gloss green

Yep. I just changed from LG/OC to LG/FE and I’m excited both about the colors and the likelihood that it will speed up delivery (according to my guide).

Those pics are sweet, no doubt. Continuing to confirm the choices for my R1S. I've had it configured for a while and sometimes I'll see another color combo and think, "what if." But still holding firm on LG/FE.

lg does change color in the sun. Here is the video I took from a first mile event. You can see the change in color.

It definitely seems to change color. By fade out, I mean the color changes drastically in different light. Overcast it looks like a dark military/olive green. Bright sun it seems to lighten considerably and look mossy green (which I’m not a fan of). That’s why I’m hesitant about the LG.
