Guide reached out by email today (4/23/22). Phone call is scheduled for 4/28/22!!! After seeing above. I decided to send a text. I think my config is pretty solid at this point.

I got that as well. I wonder if we have the same guide, or everyone is getting that same email.I received my guide contact under the disguise of "Charging your Rivian on the go". I scheduled my call, but not until the 2nd of May.
Same happened with me. Be prepared to answer an 888 phone call, as my Guide called me the very next day after I emailed her. No test drive for me yet, but did sign my PBA last week if that means anything. I texted her about it, but no response yet, but hey, it's the weekend.Been reading about everyone getting their guides assigned earlier this week and decided to check my account at Rivian.com. Low and behold I have a guide! No email from the guide or Rivian yet. Prepping an email to send as I type this.
Dallas area. Jan 2020 preorder date. Had my first mile test drive on 04/09; truck was amazing. Only gripe would be the extra long travel on the accelerator pedal. Really felt like I had to extend my leg and ankle to floor it. Other than that the truck exceeded all expectations.
Hoping the 90 day delivery expectation is a lame attempt by Rivian to under-promise/over-deliver. Will update after contacting my guide.

It sounds like depending on where you are test drives may or may not happen before you actual get your R1. My guide mentioned they are prioritizing vehicles to go to purchasers versus more availability of test drives. I would like to test drive it before I purchase it but at this post after all of the amazing reviews, videos I have watched, it’s probably not as necessary for me.Same happened with me. Pretty sure other LE R1T's have been delivered in and around Atlanta, so I think Rivian has a way to get your truck to you. I am in GA too, not worried...yet.Now I'm in GA, which does not allow Rivian to sell directly to the public, but I was told they would deliver the vehicle to me with a guide to show me the ropes.

Same, Mine had the same subject line, so that was weird. I got a calendy invite, scheduled appt and then I texted him too via the SMS number provided and he responded today that we would talk Thursday.Also received my guide email Saturday morning with a call scheduled for Wed the 27th. I was pretty confused with the 'Charging on the go' subject line, but it does sound like people with the same email received different guide names, and it's in my account too so seems legit.

We did talk to our guide end of March with April/May delivery window. At that point we were told no delay but we contacted him again and were confirmed that OC will be delayed until fall. We switched to the dark interior.What are we thinking this morning? Does the email from last night have any implications for those of us who had our guide assigned last week?
I feel like we will continue on as planned. It seems like they email was for those still in limbo and those who do not have a specific delivery window perhaps?
