Ocean Coast With Wood From Forest Edge Interior - Mockup Image

I've been a pre-holder since early 2019, told a month or so back I was on track for OC at the end of this month. Emailed guide, no word yet. But here's a mockup of the ocean coast I threw together quickly with the wood from forest edge. Nothing like some what-ifs...

Sorry, but the light gray seats and brown wood don't go together at all. The Black Mountain wood would work, but this combination is hideous.

Keep in mind this is based on the configurator renders, which are not great as we all know. I think it would look better in the flesh.

I’d also be a fan of a more honey-colored stain.

This will never happen. Slapping on some different color parts from another color theme isn’t a good look for the company. It subliminally looks disjointed and leaves the impression the company doesn’t have their house in order. Not to mention the last thing a Guide needs right now is another off-label option to throw a monkey wrench in the order.

The dark wood with the light seats is not a good look. Ocean coast with the light wood is a cohesive look.

Running that horizontal line in the middle of the dash wood in Ocean Coast color would help a lot. As shown, there's just too much dark on the dash, contrasting too much to the light finishes everywhere else.

From the first time I put eyes on the interior color options, this was the combo I wanted. Nice to see it rendered together. That forest edge wood is the only option for me. Not necessarily a fan of the forest edge green vegan leather; a saddle brown would be ideal, imo.

But I'm certainly not going to nitpick here...just give me my R1S.

I am a fan of this interior myself. The OC wood with the leather does not add any contrast to that interior, but with the FE wood it breaks up the interior and adds a nice contrast for me, which I like. Also, the metal lining between the leather and the FE wood adds a certain level of premium-ness that does not exist with the current OC or FE interior.

I like it. For those that say that dark does not go with the light, most of you probably spend most of your time in driver or passenger seat. Unless you got eyes somewhere else other than front of your head, you mostly see what is in front of you and in a bright sunny day, light surfaces can reduce your ability to see everything else. Cheapo combo in Explore works just fine for me. I especially like darker center steering wheel more than lighter ocean coast.

But if you diffidently want the adventure package with wood and don't want to wait how about Black coast or Ocean Mountain option:
